Become a
Research Volunteer
Why volunteer?
Without research volunteers like you, medical discoveries would not be possible. Research volunteers can help discover the next cure for cancer, help doctors understand how to diagnose an illness better, or understand which health approaches work best for specific groups of people. YOU can help make research better!
Who can volunteer?
Anyone can be a volunteer for research! We welcome people of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientation and ages (though you must have a parent or legal guardian to consent for you if you are under the age of 18).
Why is diversity so important in research?
We know that diseases affect people differently. Some groups of people may be at a higher risk for developing certain health conditions like diabetes or certain genetic disease. For some diseases, the groups of people affected most have not been well represented in research such as Hispanics, Native Americans, African Americans, and Asian Americans. We believe health and medical research is best when it represents everyone and we believe that everyone should have access to clinical research opportunities.
